[Sierra's POV] I was at Nick's side in a flash. "Nick, Nick, sweetie, say something." I urged, kneeling by his side. "I'm fine. Really..." he cooed. "No, you're not!" I said as more tears fell on my face. When Joe left my house, he left the door open. It was now obvious that was because he planned to return. Only this time, he had a golf club. Soundless sobs shook my body. I wanted help but there was nothing I could do. I couldn't move and I was teetering on the edge of consciousness. I tried so hard to hold on but I couldn't; I thought I blacked out. But I didn't. It felt like a wave of water washed over me and it was suffocating me. The pain set in. Blood flowed through my body and I could feel the bruises on my back. They throbbed as the blood kept flowing. I was in agonizing pain. This went on for about two days.
